I must admit, internet marketing can be hard at times. But despite the difficulty, do you have the willpower and determination to turn your dreams into a success? Some people who sell online, they listen to the gurus and start selling $500 products, thinking that they will be earning $10,000 a month within the next 3 months.
This is absolutely just nonsense. Anybody who's promising you these figures probably made $10,000 a month salary by working HARD for over the last 7 years. And guess what? 7 years in the online business industry is a very short period of time. Everybody has to put their work in before they can understand how to prosper thoroughly online.
If you're tired of the lies and deception that goes on in the internet marketing industry, I know how you feel. I've come up with some ways that you can "see through" all of the outrageous clams that goes on in the internet marketing field today. Here's the first way to determine whether or not a piece of advice is actually helpful or not:
1) Are the seller's themselves doing it?
You know one thing that I hate is that, I will come across an ad on the Google search results, and I will see an ad that says something like, "Learn how to get 100% free traffic to your website without paying for advertising ever again!" Sounds familiar doesn't it? Let me tell you why this is just ridiculous.
This person is trying to con you on how you can earn 100% profits online with no kind of paid advertising whatsoever, yet THIS PERSON is running a pay per click ad!! Pay per click (PPC) simply means that you pay a very small price every time someone clicks on your ad in the Google AdWords search results. So how is this person going to tell you how you can earn all of this money without paying for any advertising - while they are actually PAYING FOR ADVERTISING?!?!?
I actually detest ads that do this, and I see it everyday. And the sad part about it is that, many people fall for these lies. I even fell to these lies when I first got started, because I thought that the Google AdWords ads were apart of the natural search engine results. So of course I clicked, I got sucked in, and yes ... I eventually bought the product. And this is just one of the ways that people get duped online. Here's another way:
2) Thinking that no work is required
Why is it that for some people, they are absolute geniuses in schooling and college - and even at their jobs ... but when it comes to simple internet marketing, they fail miserably ... for years? I used to think you had to be a super genius to master internet marketing, but now I realize that the key is just consistency.
You have to believe in what you are doing, and you have to believe in your business. Work is required when it comes to selecting a niche, finding/creating a product, and marketing. This is no walk in the park. If you want success, you have to go hard at it 150%, and never give up.
Be sure to keep these 2 things in mind when you market your business online.
