Make Money With Clickbank Without A Website?

Many people want to know if it's possible to make money with Clickbank without a website. While it is possible, I'm not sure why anyone would want to work that hard!

If that statement doesn't make sense to you, it soon will.

Several years ago, there were lots of options for people promoting products through web 2.0 sites and popular article directories but, they no longer work as well as they once did.



Article Marketing




Article marketing was an extremely popular and effective way to sell Clickbank products until recent Google updates. I remember a few years ago when ezinearticles (the King of the article directories) was dominating many Google searches. They were everywhere it seemed.



Affiliate marketers found an easy way to exploit the popularity of ezinearticles and write keyword focused articles with their affiliate links embedded within their author bio's. This lead to a lot of easy sales without having to build a website.



Now, you hardly ever see ezinearticles on the first page of Google (at least I don't) which makes article marketing much tougher than it used to be. Plus, when you publish articles in an article directory, you no longer own or control that content. Why would you work so hard creating content for someone else's site when content creation is about 90% of the work that goes into building a website of your own?



Comment Spamming



Another popular technique I see being promoted is to leave comments other websites with a link to the product you're promoting. They often suggest that you purchase a domain name which you redirect toward your affiliate offer. That way, it "looks" less spammy.



You would have to leave many comments on many sites to get enough traffic to sell anything if you were lucky enough to make any sales at all! This is not a good way to make sales and certainly no way to build a sustainable business. Do you really want to work that hard for occasional sales?



Promoting Products On Slideshare



slideshareI have recently seen Slideshare getting some decent rankings for low competition keyword phrases. Slideshare allows anyone to build simple slide presentations which you can use to link to other sites or products you wish to promote. I think of as PowerPoint meets pinterest.



I don't have any personal experience with using Slideshare yet so I can't tell you how well they convert. You may have some success with them if you find good keywords with low enough competition. I would caution you against relying too heavily on sites like this. These kind of site are only one Google update away from obscurity at any time.



The Best Way To Sell Clickbank Products



The best way to sell Clickbank products, in my opinion, is to build a great website and learn how to drive traffic to that site. Many methods will come and go but a properly built website will bring visitors year after year without any more effort on your part.
